Dr. Nancy Tan graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the National University of Singapore. She completed her Master in Medicine (Paediatrics), Singapore and subsequently received her Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Edinburgh. She also completed her Diploma in Dermatology (Family Practice) from the National University of Singapore. She was awarded the ASEAN scholarship, the ExxonMobil-NUS Clinician Fellowship Award and the Human Manpower Development Programme Award, and received her sub-speciality training at King’s College Hospital, London. Dr. Tan’s specializes in paediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition. Some of the conditions that Dr Tan treats include gastric and intestinal disorders (e.g. abdominal pain, gastritis and ulcers, H pylori infection, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease), liver disorders, liver transplant management, growth and nutrition issues. Dr Tan also performs oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD) and colonoscopy,
She is active in research and has published numerous studies conducted locally and internationally, as well as paediatric book chapters, She is also an invited speaker at international conferences. Dr. Tan is also involved in various community services and was awarded the Ministry of Community Development Long Service Award,
